Two miniature porcelain items comprising a floral vase and a green-ground dish

A lot consisting of two miniature porcelain pieces. The first is a small ovoid-form vase with a short, narrow neck, featuring a hand-painted floral motif of a pink and purple chrysanthemum with green foliage on a white ground, finished with a gilded rim. The second item is a shallow circular dish with a vibrant green-ground exterior decorated with a continuous band of gilded foliate and floral patterns and a gilded rim. The style of decoration is reminiscent of East Asian floral studies, particularly those found in late 19th or early 20th-century Japanese or Chinese export wares. No maker’s marks are visible on the exterior surfaces.
