A Berkertex two-piece pink textured fabric skirt and top ensemble

A vintage two-piece ensemble by the British manufacturer Berkertex, dating from approximately the 1970s to 1980s. The set comprises a top and a matching skirt, constructed from a pale pink textured fabric with a soft, napped, fleece-like handle. The top is designed with a stand-up funnel collar and a partial button-front fastening with visible buttonholes on a central placket. The upper bodice is decorated with an applied cream-coloured woven braid in a lattice pattern. The matching skirt is constructed from the same material. A woven label at the neck bears the name Berkertex.
