St. George Fine Bone China Blackberry Pattern Pitcher

A fine bone china pitcher manufactured by St. George, England. The vessel features a faceted hexagonal base tapering towards a flared, scalloped rim with a defined pouring lip. It is fitted with an ornate, moulded C-scroll handle incorporating decorative thumb rests. The exterior is decorated with a transfer-printed botanical motif depicting a blackberry bramble with ripening fruit in purple and red tones, green foliage, and pink blossoms with yellow centres. The rim is finished with a gilt line. The underside bears a circular printed factory mark in black, featuring a knight in profile with a sword and shield, above the text St. George in Gothic script, followed by Fine Bone China and Made in England.
