A late Victorian or Edwardian cut glass tazza on an embossed metal base

A small cut glass bowl or tazza of circular form, mounted on a decorative metal base. The lead crystal body is decorated with deep wheel-cut geometric patterns, including multiple hobstar motifs, fan-shaped cuts, and diamond-hatched panels. The rim of the bowl is plain and rounded. The glass is mounted to a metal base featuring embossed repoussé decoration of floral blossoms and scrollwork set between beaded borders. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible on the glass or the metal. The style and construction are consistent with late 19th or early 20th-century manufacture.
