A Pair of Authentic Leedsware Pierced Creamware Floral Display Plates

A pair of creamware earthenware display plates manufactured by the Leeds Pottery Company under the Authentic Leedsware brand. These circular plates feature reticulated borders with a repeating pattern of quatrefoil and small circular cut-outs, finished with a beaded inner rim. The centres are decorated with hand-painted floral sprays. One plate features white narcissus, blue forget-me-nots, and pinkish-purple flowers, while the second plate features yellow and white daffodils, purple pansies, and dark blue berries. Each plate bears a red transfer-printed mark on the reverse consisting of a crest with a shield containing the letters LPC above a banner inscribed AUTHENTIC LEEDSWARE and the words MADE IN ENGLAND. Both plates are fitted with wire loops for wall mounting.
