A Pair of H. J. Wood Staffordshire Earthenware Twin-Handled Vases

A pair of twin-handled earthenware vases by H. J. Wood, Staffordshire, mid-20th century. Each vase features transfer-printed Rococo-style pastoral scenes of romantic couples set against a cream ground with deep burgundy borders and gilded highlights. The ornate form includes scrolled handles and ruffled rims on a pedestal base, with the manufacturer’s mark printed to the underside.
