A Pair of Cut Glass Ashtrays with Hobstar and Geometric Decoration

A pair of circular cut glass ashtrays featuring a complex geometric intaglio pattern to the base. The design comprises a central hexagram surrounded by three large lobes, each containing hobstar and fine-line cross-hatched motifs. The exterior walls are decorated with vertical fluted cutting, rising to a scalloped and serrated rim with three integral cigarette rests. The glass exhibits high clarity and sharp definition to the decorative elements, consistent with lead crystal manufacture. No maker’s marks or etched signatures are visible on either piece.
