Three 20th-century studio pottery stoneware jugs and pourers including Leach Pottery style examples

Three wheel-thrown stoneware vessels, including two pieces in the style of Leach Pottery Standard Ware. The first is a small jug with horizontal ribbing to the body and a loop handle, finished in an opaque cream glaze with a pale celadon-style interior, corresponding to the LRW5 design. The second is a tapered pourer with a flared, pinched rim, decorated in an oatmeal-coloured glaze with dark brown iron-rich tenmoku-style splashes around the base, corresponding to the LRW3 design. The third is a bulbous jug with a wide pinched pouring lip and loop handle, featuring a layered glaze effect transitioning from cream at the base to a yellow band and a mottled reddish-brown rim. No potter’s marks or seals are visible on the exterior of the vessels and the bases are not visible in the provided images.
