A Pair of Aynsley Wild Violets Pattern Fine Bone China Napkin Rings

A pair of English fine bone china napkin rings manufactured by Aynsley in the Wild Violets pattern. Each ring is of a faceted octagonal form. The decoration consists of transfer-printed floral sprays featuring purple violets and green leaves set against a white ground. The upper and lower rims are finished with hand-applied gilt lines. The interior of each ring bears a green printed factory mark comprising a crown above a banner containing the word Aynsley, flanked by Est and 1775. Below this is printed Made in England, Fine English Bone China. The pattern name Wild Violets by Aynsley is positioned beneath the factory mark. A small hand-painted brown mark B is present on the interior. One ring retains a partial original blue and gold foil label featuring the Aynsley crest.
