Hornsea Pottery Fauna Royal Fawn Tree Trunk Posy Vase

A glazed ceramic posy vase from the Fauna Royal range by Hornsea Pottery, England. The piece is naturalistically modelled in the form of a textured tree trunk with an integral branch handle. The base features a relief-moulded figure of a resting fawn in a white glaze, positioned against green foliage. The exterior is finished in shades of brown and green, while the interior is white. The base displays a black printed factory mark for Hornsea Pottery Fauna Royal, including the horn logo and registered England mark. An incised decorator signature for Audrey is visible on the lower side of the trunk.
