Description
A trio of translucent rose pink pressed glass plates, identified as the Princess pattern attributed to the Hocking Glass Company, dating from the early 1930s. Each plate features an octagonal form with scalloped edges. The central well is decorated with a moulded circular rayed sunburst pattern surrounding a central floral bouquet. The wide rim is finished with an intricate border of scrolls and floral elements. Based on their size, these items are likely bread and butter plates or saucers. No maker’s marks are visible on the pieces, which is characteristic of this type of Depression-era glassware.
Diameter approximately 15-16 cm.
