Description
This yellow-glazed earthenware tankard is part of the Veteran and Vintage Cars series produced by Wade of England as an RK Product. The front of the vessel displays a polychrome transfer-printed illustration of a red 1924 Alfa Romeo racing car set against a landscape featuring a hilltop castle. The reverse side provides printed technical specifications for the vehicle, identified as Series 6 (No. 16) from the Competition Cars group. Details include the engine specifications as 85 B.H.P. 6 CYL. 3 LITRES, a Two-Seater Racing Body, and a recorded 1925 Brooklands lap speed of 93.79 m.p.h. The piece is finished with a silver-toned lustre rim.
