An engraved sterling silver oval locket pendant

A sterling silver oval locket pendant. The front face features an engraved foliate and scroll-work pattern, while the reverse is plain and polished. The locket is hinged at the side and opens to reveal two interior compartments containing small photographic portrait miniatures under protective covers. The pendant is suspended from a tapering triangular bail. The bail is stamped with the mark 925, indicating sterling silver content.
