A Set of Churchman's Cigarettes The Quest for Gold Cigarette Cards

A set of cigarette cards issued by W.A. & A.C. Churchman, a branch of the Imperial Tobacco Co., dating to circa 1932. The series is titled The Quest for Gold and features illustrations related to gold prospecting and mining. The visible top card depicts two men panning and digging in a landscape with an inset illustration of a large gold nugget. The text CHURCHMAN’S CIGARETTES is printed along the top edge, and THE QUEST FOR GOLD is printed along the bottom edge. The cards are presented in a stack within a clear plastic wrapper.
