Monitor No. 132A Brass Paraffin Blow Torch, Made in England, mid-20th Century

A vintage British-made paraffin blow torch manufactured by Monitor, model No. 132A. This industrial tool features a cylindrical brass fuel tank, which is clearly stamped with the manufacturer’s name, model number, and the instruction PARAFFIN ONLY. The assembly includes a top-mounted brass pump and valve system. The torch is fitted with a distinctive red-painted perforated steel handle and a black-finished steel burner nozzle featuring slotted vents for airflow. A partially intact red and black paper label remains on the side of the tank, bearing The Seal of Safety & Efficiency and confirming its British manufacture.
