Lurpak Toast Rack, Ceramic, Late 20th Century

This is an original promotional ceramic toast rack produced for the Lurpak butter brand, dating from the late 20th century. The design features the iconic Douglas the butter man mascot, a character first introduced in 1986, leaning against the end divider. The rack is constructed with four slots for toast and a central divider topped with a circular finial, all finished in a pale cream glaze. The front of the base is printed with the blue LURPAK logo beneath the brand’s traditional coat of arms. The underside is embossed with the text Made exclusively for Lurpak and includes a small stylized maker’s mark. Dimensions: 18cm x 7.5cm x 11cm.
