A pair of licensed Disney spice jars from The Pooh Pantry collection by Lenox, dated 2000. Each jar is crafted from fine white glazed porcelain in a traditional barrel form, decorated with blue linear accents to the body and lid. The lids are surmounted by sculptural bee-shaped finials featuring gold-highlighted accents. The Ginger jar depicts Winnie the Pooh, while the Curry jar depicts Piglet, both rendered in polychrome printed decoration and labelled within decorative banners. The reverse of each vessel features a beehive motif and the phrase Spice is nice. The bases are marked: The Pooh Pantry Spice Jar Set From LENOX FINE PORCELAIN Disney 2000. The set is housed in its original branded cardboard presentation box. Height approximately 95mm each.
