Victorian Style Silver Plated and Cut Crystal Claret Jug with Scrolled Handle

A Victorian style claret jug of elegant form, featuring a clear crystal body decorated with deep-cut diamond and vertical wedge patterns. The vessel is fitted with a silver-plated mount, comprising a hinged, domed lid surmounted by a bud-form finial. The flared spout is embellished with engraved fan-shaped detailing, complemented by a prominent and gracefully scrolled handle. Indistinct hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the interior of the lid and on the metal collar. The crystal body is finished with a star-cut base. This lot consists of one jug.
