This lot comprises a complete British military No. 1 MK III Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) protective suit, manufactured by Remploy Ltd and dated 1984. The ensemble includes a smock and trousers, both featuring the woodland Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM) camouflage. The smock is a pullover design with an integrated drawstring hood and a large central map pocket. The trousers are high-waisted with built-in adjustable suspenders and thigh-mounted cargo pockets. These suits were a staple of British Cold War era equipment, designed with a charcoal-impregnated inner lining to protect the wearer from chemical agents.
