Nordisk Malm Copper Zodiac Bowl, Art Deco Style

A shallow copper bowl or charger attributed to Nordisk Malm of Denmark. The piece features a wide rim decorated with the twelve signs of the zodiac, rendered in a stylised, modern graphic manner. The decorative elements are executed through a combination of etching and chasing, with the recessed lines showing a darker patination against the polished copper surface. The central well is undecorated, displaying a faint concentric texture. The reverse is plain and lacks visible maker’s marks or hallmarks.
