This lot comprises a single vintage die-cast metal model of the Eagle Transporter, manufactured by Dinky Toys (Meccano) to coincide with the mid-1970s television series Space: 1999. The model is constructed of metal with a distinctive metallic green paint finish. It features a white plastic lattice-work superstructure and four landing pods equipped with grey plastic feet. The underside reveals two pairs of red plastic thrusters and a central metal sliding mechanism designed for the attachment of a transport pod.
