Mdina, Sea and Sand Pattern, Aladdin Lamp Shaped Art Glass Dish

A mid-century modern style hand-blown art glass decorative dish by Mdina Glass, Malta. The piece is executed in the iconic Sea and Sand pattern, featuring internal colour ribboning where clear glass encases concentric swirls of aqua blue and emerald green, highlighted by thin yellow-gold filaments. The form is asymmetrical and nautilus-inspired, often referred to as an Aladdin’s lamp shape, with a high, elegantly scrolled handle and a tapered front.
