A rectangular moulded glass advertising paperweight of industrial interest, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The piece is fashioned from clear glass containing Manganese, which exhibits a characteristic bright green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The face features acid-etched lettering with white pigment infill, reading: THE NORTH-WESTERN CO-OPERATIVE COLD STORAGE COMPANY LIMITED. The form is rectangular with rounded corners and a slightly recessed underside.
