Germany WWII Winterhilfswerk (WHW) Donation Badge, Second World War

A Second World War era German donation badge produced for the Winterhilfswerk (Winter Relief Organisation), circa 1941. This injection-moulded plastic badge is designed as a waving Reichskriegsflagge (Reich War Flag) attached to a flagpole with a fleur-de-lis finial. The obverse features hand-painted highlights in red, white, and black, depicting the swastika and Iron Cross. The reverse is embossed with the text FRAGEFLAGGE KRIEGSSCHIFFE (Ensign of Warships) and the manufacturer mark SU 12. These items, commonly known as tinnies, were given to donors during street collections, specifically for the Day of the Wehrmacht campaigns.
