Lot 378:
Description
A photographic print depicting Laurel & Hardy in a scene from their 1928 film ‘You’re Darn Tootin”. The framed black and white print features three male figures in what appears to be a staged or theatrical outdoor scene. On the left, a man with a mustache wears a police uniform, including a peaked cap, dark jacket with buttons, and a shield-shaped badge on the chest. In the center stands a leaner man wearing a bowler hat, suit jacket, light shirt, and light trousers. To the right, a heavier-set man is shown in a light-colored shirt, tie, shorts, and dark knee-high socks, actively pointing his right hand. The background features architectural elements with partially visible English text reading “RESTA…” and “RI” on separate signs. The monochrome palette, attire, and character presentation are consistent with the early to mid-20th century. The print is housed in a simple, dark, rectilinear frame.
