Vintage 1980s Sanyo DCX-W8 HI-FI Centre with Speakers

A vintage 1980s Sanyo DCX-W8 HI-FI Centre with speakers. This compact stereo system features a black plastic and metal casing with silver accents. It integrates a top-loading turntable, AM/FM stereo receiver, graphic equalizer, and a double cassette deck. The main unit, model DCX-W8, was manufactured by Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. in Japan. It is accompanied by two detachable Sanyo SX-W8 2-way speaker systems. The speakers, rated at 8 Ohms and 10 W RMS, were produced by Sanyo Marubeni (UK) Ltd. in the U.K. Visible markings include ‘SANYO,’ ‘POWER,’ ‘OFF & ON,’ ‘REJECT,’ ‘TUNING,’ ‘DOLBY SYSTEM,’ and ‘DOUBLE CASSETTE STEREO SOUND SYSTEM.’ A UK-style 3-pin power plug is attached.
