Mid-20th Century Scandinavian Style Hand-Blown Glass Bird Figurine

A hand-blown glass figurine of a bird, produced in a minimalist mid-to-late 20th-century Scandinavian style. The piece is fashioned from heavy clear glass and features a rotund, rounded body, a short upturned tail, and a small pointed beak. The lower half of the figurine contains a dark charcoal-coloured internal core encased within the clear outer glass. The base is ground flat for stability and exhibits faint, illegible etched markings. The design and construction technique are closely associated with Nordic glassworks such as Hadeland.
