An Assortment of Eight Contemporary Pocket Watches including Quartz and Skeletonised Examples

A collection of eight contemporary pocket watches in various styles and finishes. The assortment features two ornate open-face watches with matching floral chasing in gold-tone and silver-tone cases, both with white dials and Arabic numerals. A minimalist open-face watch is housed in a polished black case with a gold-tone crown and luminous markers. Another gold-tone example displays a beaded bezel and black Roman numerals on a white dial. A silver-tone model includes a black dial with concentric texturing and Roman numerals. The group also contains three hunter-style watches: a gold-tone case featuring a colour illustration of a steam locomotive to the cover with an inscription on the reverse reading City Class 1903-1931; a gold-tone watch with a beaded bezel and classical painting reproduction to the cover, featuring a skeletonised dial showing internal decorative gears; and a black-cased watch with a raised silver-tone fish motif resembling a sturgeon. The majority of the items feature quartz movements as indicated on the dials, with one skeletonised example. All watches are constructed with base metal cases.
