A vintage Fidelity CB 1000 FM mobile Citizens Band (CB) radio transceiver. This solid-state unit is constructed with a metal chassis, a textured black metal top cover, and a silver-toned plastic front panel. The control interface comprises three rotary knobs for volume, squelch, and channel selection, alongside a two-digit LED channel display and an analogue signal meter. The front panel features the Fidelity brand name and logo, the model number CB 1000 FM, and the 27/81 mark signifying its manufacture for the UK 27MHz FM band following legalisation in 1981. The rear panel includes a paper manufacturer label with serial number 28370, an external speaker jack, and a threaded antenna connector. The transceiver is fitted with a handheld microphone on a coiled lead and integrated power wires.
