A Pair of Floral Embroidered and Applique Decorative Cushions

A matching pair of square decorative scatter cushions. The covers are constructed from an off-white cream fabric with a slight sheen and visible slubbed texture, characteristic of faux silk or polyester dupion. The front of each cushion features a contemporary large-scale floral design. These motifs are created using a combination of fabric applique and embroidery in a palette of charcoal grey, taupe, and dusty pink. The design includes stylized peony-like blossoms with detailed embroidered centres and surrounding leaf and bud accents. The reverse is finished in the same plain cream fabric and features a simple envelope-style opening for the removal of the inner pads. There are no visible maker labels or marks.
