A Shira PS-3014 Regulated DC Power Supply and a Sharman's Handheld Microphone

This lot comprises a Shira PS-3014 regulated DC power supply and a Sharman’s handheld communications microphone. The power supply is housed in a black painted metal cabinet with cooling vents. The front panel features an on/off rocker switch, a red indicator lamp, and red and black binding post output terminals. The panel is marked Regulated DC Power Supply With Short Circuit Protection and provides specifications including an input of 240V AC 50Hz, output of 13.8V DC, 3 Amp constant, and 5 Amp surge. The rear of the unit is fitted with an external heatsink carrying a Motorola 2N3055 power transistor and a screw-cap fuse holder. The Sharman’s handheld microphone is constructed from black plastic with a push-to-talk button. It is attached to a coiled cord terminated with a multi-pin circular screw-on connector, typical of CB radio equipment. The front of the microphone displays a silver label with an atomic/orbital symbol and the text Sharman’s.
