Three Estate Briar Tobacco Smoking Pipes

Three estate tobacco smoking pipes comprising varied shapes and finishes. The group includes two pipes in smooth-finished briar with a polished reddish-brown stain and one pipe with a black rusticated surface. The first smooth-finished pipe is a bent shape featuring a small white cross-shaped symbol on the black stem. The second smooth-finished pipe is of a bent form, marked with white script characters appearing as El on the stem. The rusticated pipe has a straight shank and a tapered black stem marked with a white capital letter L. Stamped markings are visible on the wood shanks but are not clearly legible in the images. The construction follows traditional designs with removable mouthpieces.
