A Set of Four Walthers N Scale WKWX Intermodal Spine Cars

A set of four model railroad intermodal spine flatcars produced by Wm. K. Walthers, Inc. These N scale models are designed for Trailer On Flat Car (TOFC) operations. Each car is constructed with a plastic body featuring a blue central spine and yellow side sills. An orange-painted hitch assembly is mounted at one end for securing semi-truck trailers. The models are fitted with black plastic trucks and free-rolling metal wheelsets. The livery includes the stylized yellow W logo and the reporting marks WKWX 193297. Technical lettering on the sides includes CAPY 65000, LD LMT 65000, FC LT WT 2600, and a prototypical build date of NEW 7-97. The cars are equipped with body-mounted knuckle couplers.
