Spear & Jackson forged steel felling axe

Spear & Jackson felling axe, mid-to-late 20th century. Forged steel head with a flared bit and two vertical indented lines near the poll, mounted on a contoured wooden shaft. The handle features a black-painted grip with an integrated lanyard hole and the head bears a stamped Spear & Jackson manufacturer mark.
