This mid-20th-century automobilia accessory was manufactured by Desmo Ltd of Birmingham, United Kingdom. The item consists of a circular metal frame housing a printed insert under a clear protective layer of glass or celluloid. The face features printed black text stating THIS IS A DESMO PRODUCT and DESMO LTD BIRMINGHAM. The badge is riveted to a flat, shaped steel mounting bracket designed with three apertures for attachment to a vehicle. The reverse shows the bracket assembly and a modern auction lot sticker.
