An Art Nouveau Style Composite Mantel Clock

A decorative mantel clock in the Art Nouveau style, featuring a stylized female bust with hair swept into a bun. The body is constructed from cast composite material with a gold-painted finish, exhibiting dark distressing to simulate an antique patina. The head and neck of the figure are fashioned from a cream-coloured resin intended to simulate ivory or alabaster. The base is decorated with relief-moulded floral blossoms and characteristic whiplash organic curves. The clock face is a modern circular insert with a gold-tone bezel, a white dial with Roman numerals, and a black fanned-petal logo above the six o’clock position. The movement is a modern battery-operated quartz mechanism.
