Description
A trio of miniature architectural models manufactured by Coalport in fine bone china. The collection includes a model from the English Barns series titled Tythe Barn, featuring a double-gabled structure with applied moss-like textures and a haycart on a rectangular base with a gilded rim. The base is marked with the Coalport crown crest and the inscription Typical of a style found in Worcestershire. The second item is a model of Robert Burns’ Cottage, depicted as a long, low cottage with a yellow thatched roof, two chimneys, and applied floral decoration. The base bears the title and maker’s name in blue script alongside a hand-painted green character H. The third item is titled The Bell Tower, an ornate white building with green roofs, a central bell tower, and gilded highlights, featuring applied floral and moss detailing. The base is marked within a blue floral garland and includes two small hand-painted marks in a reddish-brown colour.
