Description
A Motorola 8500X vintage mobile telephone, commonly referred to as a brick phone, dating from the late 1980s. The unit is constructed from a moulded dark grey and black plastic housing. It features a twenty-button rubberised keypad with standard alphanumeric keys and specific function keys including RCL, CLR, SND, STO, FCN, END, PWR, NAME, and VOL. The front of the handset bears the Motorola stylised M logo and is clearly marked MOTOROLA 8500X. The base of the handset features a gold-toned identification label printed with the number 0860 266833, which is also embossed into the plastic casing. This lot includes the mobile handset, a desktop charging cradle, a UK BS 1363 3-pin AC power adapter, and two battery packs. The item features various modern adhesive auction house labels.
