Beswick Staffordshire Ware Ceramic Spaniel Figurine

This ceramic figurine depicts a seated spaniel in the traditional Staffordshire style, produced by Beswick. The piece is constructed from glazed ceramic with a white ground. It features hand-painted details including orange eyes with black pupils, a black muzzle, and grey paws with black claws. The body is decorated with repeated gilt crescent-shaped markings and a moulded gilt collar with a padlock pendant. The base bears an impressed circular mark reading Staffordshire Ware England. A contemporary adhesive paper label with the printed numbers 12689 and the date 16 March 2026 is also present on the underside.
