A Set of Vintage Wired Intercom Headsets with Funnel Microphones

A set of vintage wired intercom units, attributed to mid-20th century manufacture. The system comprises multiple headsets constructed from black and reddish-brown moulded plastic, possibly Bakelite, mounted on shaped base plates. Each unit features a distinctive blue-painted metal funnel microphone attached to an adjustable stalk. The earpieces are of a circular design resembling the DLR No. 5 pattern. The headsets are fitted with green canvas webbing straps and include a substantial quantity of red and green insulated connecting wire. The lot is accompanied by the remains of the original cardboard packaging, which features pink printed elements.
