Description
This lot comprises an assortment of domestic and decorative brassware and silver-plated items. The collection includes eleven goblets, many featuring etched floral and foliate motifs. Several of these goblets are silver-plated over a yellow-toned base metal. Also included are two pairs of brass candlesticks; one pair features a barley-twist stem on square bases, while the second pair is smaller with a simpler turned design. The lot further contains a miniature decorative flat iron with a turned wooden handle, a circular brass lidded box with a relief-decorated top depicting avian figures, and a large footed bowl or chalice with a textured stem. Additionally, there is a small circular brass dish containing a miniature architectural model. The items exhibit various manufacturing techniques such as casting, machine-turning, and engraving. No maker marks are visible on the items.
