Vintage Chalkware Piggy Bank with Raised Floral Decoration

A vintage chalkware piggy bank modelled as a reclining pig wearing a small hat adorned with flowers. The piece is decorated with raised, hand-painted floral motifs including yellow and pink blossoms with green foliage against a cream-coloured ground. The item is constructed from painted plaster and features a coin slot on the upper back with a circular aperture at the rear. The decorative style is reminiscent of Wemyss ware.
