A mid-20th-century precision engineering clinometer manufactured by E.R. Watts and Son Ltd, London. The instrument is constructed with a grey-painted metal body and a polished steel base, designed for measuring angles of slope or elevation. It features a circular spirit level set within a brass-coloured mount and a graduated adjustment dial with a vernier-style scale displaying numerical increments including 35, 40, 45, 50, and 55.
